Riding the Wave

Heather Hudson has had a lifelong passion for real estate, which began at a young age, by helping her dad work on homes for friends and family. That passion grew with the purchase and remodeling of her first home over 20 years ago, and has continued through multiple personal renovation projects.

One of Heather’s favorite things to do is walk into a home and imagine its possibilities—a vision she shares with her clients during property tours and renovations. Her hands-on experience has even led her to assist clients with the design and oversight of their own remodels.

Since 2004, Heather has been immersed in the real estate world. She launched a title searching business that served the entire state of Michigan, giving her in-depth knowledge of liens, mortgages, taxes, property ownership, easements, and the many complexities of title work. In 2017, she officially began her career as a REALTOR®, quickly gaining recognition for her commitment to professional development. She pursued additional certifications, served on the Aspire MLS Board, and actively contributed to several real estate committees.

Heather eventually earned her Broker’s license and launched her own ventures, Wavelength Realty and Helix Property Management, to offer a more personalized approach to real estate and property management. After 20 successful years, she sold her title searching business to focus fully on serving clients through every stage of buying, selling, and investment ownership.

As an investor herself, Heather understands the importance of purchasing well and effective property management from both a service provider and owner’s perspective.

Deeply committed to the Northern Michigan community, Heather actively volunteers and currently serves as the President of the Grand Traverse Region Habitat for Humanity. She remains engaged with Aspire MLS and local initiatives that support housing and community development.
